Belmont Best Front Gardens

The third event, held in 2005, was organised as before by Cllr Brian Hubbard, and attracted thirty entries. Co-sponsored by Belmont Rural Parish Council and Belmont Lodge and Golf.

The judge, Chris Beenewith, Wyevale Nurseries, said the event was a credit to all residents of the Belmont estate, "not just those taking part in the competition".

First prize was £50 in gift vouchers, plus a meal for two at Belmont Lodge and Golf, to which Chris Bennewith added a further £25-worth of plants from his nursery.
