BELMONT RURAL LETTERS

Glenda: a need to be present
I have read Trudy Seeker's comment (emails 340 & 344) and ask myself if she knows what she is talking about. As to reading minutes Trudy can do that herself. But Glenda Powell was not there to vote for or against each agenda item so she was of no use to the residents or the parish council.

I concur with Abbey View (email 341) but, to do the job properly, you have to be available at any time to help residents.

But the greatest joke is the comment from M.R. Hiles (email 342) "Remarks were offensive" In all the comments I could not find anything offensive. I just wonder if M.R.Hiles knows what offensive actually means

Rebecca Morrison (email 338) "Glenda: always out and about". But too tired to go to parish council meetings for six months?

As to the comments by P. C. Walker (email 343), and Glenys Patrick (email 337) why is Cllr Powell so ill yet able to be out and about? Attending Herefordshire Council meetings probably tired her out.
