BELMONT RURAL LETTERS
Belmont Centre AGM - no quorum However, living within the generally apathetic, dispiriting malaise endemic in Belmont Rural, the SWCA trustees cannot guarantee that their appetite to sustain the BCC will continue forever and, if their hunger to do unpaid and thankless charitable work is lost, the Belmont Centre’s closure will become the option for serious consideration. The tragedy is the centre is in good repair, is well attended and has strong finances, but has insufficient volunteers to ensure its future. When the present small band of seasoned SWCA veterans have had enough and if the centre then closes the Belmont Rural community might meet again (Don’t know where, don’t know when). Probably by then all of us will be past caring whether it does or not!
