Examples of good counter services
I
prefer listening and talking "face to face" as chat-room correspondence
can waste valuable time and lead to further frustration on occasions.
If Andy Myatt wants excellent examples of shared counter services he need
look no further than Belmont's library which provides much more than books.
Education, information in a variety of forms including free use of computers
are perfect examples.
In South Wye we have another multi-purpose function centre at the Kindle
building where a great many public services can be accessed throughout
the week.I believe in thinking positively and actively trying to make
good practice work. However it sometimes takes longer than I would like.

NOTE:
I would have thought chat-rooms were much closer to "face to face"
correspondence than swapping emails. I mention this because the outfit
in the parish that repairs and updates my computer offered to create such
a facility, free, for the website. Given the length of time it took to
get people to use this email system I worried whether my life expectations
were sufficient to launch this alternative system. Website editor
