Ask before you dig
In my experience with supporting local volunteers wishing to plant and maintain bulbs, shrubs and trees, I have found it best to always check details with the landowner, whether it be private, Herefordshire Council or (as in the past) The Highways Agency.

Through previous planning enquiries I have opposed the use of yet more plastic and have pressed for more permitted tree and shrub planting which in turn, should assist CO2 control and reduction from passing traffic within Belmont Rural parish.
